Driven by a Thirst for Life Meike Neitz has been a nomad ever since she could walk. She is passionately curious, loves traveling and intends to never stop learning! This quest, combined with her life goal of having visited all 193 countries in the world before she dies (currently at 93 and counting) sent her around the world and made her the expert in global affairs, entrepreneurship and digital communications she is today. Meike was Senior Manager, Trend & Innovation Scouting at Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI) in charge of all international topics of the Digital Hub Initiative (de:hub) by the German Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action.  From 2020 to 2022, Meike was appointed Digital Ambassador with the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ), based in Namibia to support the local Startup ecosystem and build bridges between Europe and Africa. Based on Expertise Until 2020, Meike ran her own coaching business, focusing on communications and business development for Startups, amongst others working closely with the TV format “Die Höhle der Löwen”. Meike began her career as Country Director for the Emerging Markets Research and Consulting Firm Oxford Business Group (OBG),  living and working in Turkey, Indonesia, Tunisia, Thailand and Algeria.  Meike studied International Relations at TU Dresden and Boston College and holds a Masters Degree in Political Communications from Goldsmiths College, University of London.
